While spending the day in Benkelman one of the must see landmarks is the Dundy County Museum located at 522 Arapahoe Street. Once a thriving hospital back in the 50s and 60s is now a museum lined with amazing memorabilia of yesteryear. The museum features many different "theme rooms" displaying some of the proud history and rare collectables of Dundy County. There is even an operational soda fountain that will serve you up a cold drink or one of their famous frostys!
